Not quite the start we were hoping for but a new year all the same.
Until we can all return to The Farmers Club I thought you might like a few ideas on how to visit some of London’s best loved venues from the safety and comfort of your own home albeit with the fear of “square eyes!” It’s surely the perfect escape from ZOOM calls or the constant COVID reminders on television. Of course we’d much prefer that you were in the club but in the meantime, I hope these are of interest.
I have listed under Museums, Galleries, Theatre and London Life some interesting podcasts, virtual tours and productions that are available on-line, some free of charge and other venues ask for a small fee to play them.
Museums
British Museum
This iconic museum provides virtual visitors to tour the Great Court and discover the ancient Rosetta Stone and
Egyptian mummies. Drop into the Egyptian Sculpture Gallery
You can also find hundreds of artefacts on the museum’s free virtual tour and the podcast is also interesting

London Live Webcams
If you are still missing your trips to London then the London Live webcams are a great, if not addictive way to keep an eye on the coming and goings of the city. Maybe at the moment a little less activity for obvious reasons, enabling you to see London spaces uncrowded and in full glory.

I hope you enjoy this on-line selection and when you are back in the club let me know and I can book tickets and visits for you at some of the abovementioned venues.
