The latest Farmers Club Journal reports on a vibrant Summer season of Club activity and a variety of farming issues, including climate change, mental health in ag and the Charitable Trust’s 40th Anniversary.
Arriving with members in early-November the Autumn Journal includes a round-up of very successful Summer activities organised by the Club for its members, including agricultural show receptions and numerous London outings, plus the 40th Anniversary of the Farmers Club Charitable Trust and a wonderful Harvest Festival in central London followed by a superb supper back at the Club.
The important topic of climate change, and what farming can do about it, is addressed by an expert from the Met Office. Mental health challenges across the farming sector are also tackled, with advice on what to look for, how you can help, and where to get support.
