APPLICATION PROCESS
All applicants must fill in the proposal form included on this website, give full details of their type of farming or involvement in an ancillary industry, and have their application proposed and seconded by Club members who know the applicant personally.
Applications are considered for approval by the Membership Committee 4 times a year.
An entrance fees is payable on initially joining the Club. Subscription fees are payable part yearly when application is approved and by direct debit annually each January. They vary according to membership class:
Country Membership
Country membership may be applied for by those living and working outside the boundary of the M25 motorway.
Town Membership
Town membership may be applied for by those living or working within the boundary of the M25 motorway.
Under 35s Membership
Under 35s membership is open to those aged between 18 & 35 years of age. They are able to benefit from a greatly reduced Entrance fee on joining and lower Subscription fees going forward annually. The Under 35's hold their own events throughout the year in London and beyond and offers a wonderful networking opportunity.
Overseas Membership
Overseas membership should be applied for by those living outside the United Kingdom.
Family Membership
For a small addition to the standard annual subscription, Family membership gives the spouse/partner and children under 18 the privileges of membership of the Club and independent use of its facilities (whether accompanied by the member or not).
Life Membership
Life Membership may be obtained upon payment of a one off subscription fee. Once Life Membership has been paid for the need to pay an annual subscription ceases. This type of membership is only available to existing members.
Associate membership
Associate Membership can be enjoyed by members of the Forty Club and also those living in Whitehall Court. The same privileges are granted as full members but associate members cannot vote or join the Committee.
