Dear U35s Members,
I would like to invite you to a guided Thatchers Cider Company Tour and Tasting experience on Friday 25th September at 11am.
We will be taken around the working mill at Myrtle Farm, Somerset, which has been crafting cider since 1904, representing over 115 years of cider-making expertise. Our tour is expected to last approximately two hours. The tour coincides with the start of harvest, offering a unique opportunity to see the cider-making process up-close and in action from start to finish; pressing, fermentation, bottling, canning and warehousing.
To conclude the tour, we will then sample a selection of ciders, tasting the differences between the types of apples used.
Following the tour and tasting, a table has been reserved for lunch at The Railway Inn in Sandford at 1:30pm (lunch deposit paid for in advance, please settle your remaining lunch balance).
There will be an opportunity to visit the Thatchers Farm Shop both before and after our tour, the shop is open from 10am – 5pm.
Hope to see you there!
