A Room with History
Formerly known as the Forty Room, this space takes its name from its long association with The Forty Club, a worldwide wandering cricket club that met here regularly from 1969 to 2021.
Today, the Club Room retains these strong links while embracing its new identity. It now showcases a rich collection of Farmers Club memorabilia, including:
- The Farmers Club Cup.
- Historic Officers Boards.
- Pavilion plaques, including one marking the opening by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother in 1964.
- Original club signage and selected entries from visitors’ books.
This heritage creates a unique atmosphere that inviting guests to reflect on the Club’s history and memorable moments.
